The Cheetah Motion Planner

The heart of the S6 is a jerk-limited, third-order continuous motion algorithm. This allows the printer to hit travel speeds of 500 mm/s and accelerations of 50,000 mm/s² while maintaining a dimensional accuracy of $\pm$ 0.15 mm.

 

 

Next-Gen Print Cores

It utilizes the new AA+ and CC+ High-Flow Cores. These feature a quad-chamber melt zone that supports flow rates up to 35 mm³/s, ensuring that the extruder can keep up with the increased movement speeds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hybrid Build Plate Options

Hybrid Build Plate Options: For the first time in the S-series, users can choose between a flexible PEI-coated steel plate (for easy part removal and better adhesion) or a traditional glass plate (for FDA-compliant or sterile applications).

 

 

 

 

Filaments

The UltiMaker S6 operates on a 2.85 mm filament system, which is standard for the UltiMaker ecosystem. Thanks to its upgraded high-temperature print head (up to 340°C) and reinforced feeders, it can handle a massive library of over 300 materials.
